Karthikeya 2 is an mythological cum supernatural thriller movie which is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and the lead cast of the movie are Nikhil Siddarth, Anupama Parameswaran, Anupam Kher, Srinivas Reddy, Harsha Chemudu and many others. The Music and the BGM work has been handled by Kaala bhairava.
Karthikeya 2 has been one of the highly anticipated movies and people have been waiting for the movie to release in theatres. Finally, after a lot of postponements the movie has released in theatres on 13th August 2022. Here is the detailed review of the Karthikeya 2 Movie
Story
Karthikeya is a doctor who believes in facts rather than mythology and god. He is always curious about the mysterious things and wants to solve them. This curiosity itself helps him to earn many medals for solving mysteries. On the other side, we see a story about Lord Krishna who gives an anklet to Udhava. The anklet has secrets which would help people to cure all the problems of the people they face in Kali Yuga. Udhava hides the anklet in a secret place and only the worthy can reach it.
To break that code, a dedicated archaeologist researches thoroughly and finds the first clue of the lead but he is caught up by the villain gang and he is killed in the process. The whole process takes place in the holy city of Dwaraka. In this situation, Karthikeya visits the Dwaraka along with his mother and he gets pulled into situation without his knowledge.
Now as the problem has come to him. His curiousness leads him to solve the mystery. His accompanied by Mugdha and his associate and they travel across the Dwaraka and other places to find the anklet of the Lord Krishna. What are the hurdles they have to face? Will they find the anklet of the Lord Krishna? Why did Lord Krishna choose Karthikeya in this journey? That is the whole plot of the story.
Positives
Nikhil Siddarth has done tremendous work in this movie and he proved that the content is the kin and his curiosity and his action in the movie is quite commendable. Anupama Parameswarn looks great in the movie, she just doesn’t play an heroine role but she is a great support to the hero and his quest to find the anklet. Srinivas Reddy and Harsha did their supporting roles wonderfully and generated the comedy in the middle parts.
Anupam Kher has 10minutes role in the movie, but his role is quite impactful as well. The direction of Chandoo Mondeti is quite excellent, his writing, and his vision of the movie is quite excellent. The real hero of the movie is Kaala Bhairava, he has brought the life into the scenes with his BGM.
Negatives
The first half of the movie is a bit slow, but from pre interval to the climax the movie goes on at an amazing pace and thrill.
Overall Verdict
Karthikeya 2 is an amazing movie and it can be watched with family and friends. The movie will keep you hooked to the screens and the thrill and excitement from pre interval to the climax is absolutely top notch. It is a definite watch movie in theatres only.
